La Union is located on the main island Luzon, about 250 km north of Manila. Having the South China Sea as it's surfing play ground mellow waves and a long stretch of beach allow aspiring surfers to master the waves easily. La Union is also one of the prime surfing areas in the Philippines and offers great surfing both for beginners and experienced surfers. Intermediate surfers will get the chance to try out many different waves, including several perfectly shaped right hand reef and point breaks. Newbies will especially enjoy the consistent San Juan beach break, which offers good clean lefts and rights, a great fun wave! |

Zambales is located 2 hours north of Manila, on the South China Sea side, near the Subic Freeport Zone. The south swell season is from June to September. With mostly beach breaks and a few point breaks this destination is perfect for day or weekend trips. With the famous Crystal Beach Resort in San Narciso which offers a long stretch of beach surfers can experience a beautiful scenery and friendly locals. The left hand break in San Antonio is a nice rock bottom surf spot that works perfectly in the south swell season of the year.
